With a BA in Philosophy and Religious Studies and an MA in Philosophy, I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to prove what every musician knows - that playing music gives you a taste of the eternal. All that aside, five years ago I decided to branch out from the secure world of choral music and start a serious and loving relationship with jazz. Lucky for me, I decided to do this in Saskatoon where there is no shortage of exceptionally talented artists to play and perform with. Recently I've been dabbling with the accordion, which has opened up a whole new odd and adventurous world, and I continue to perform with musicians I love, from classical repertoire and jazz to grass roots and gypsy/klezmer thrash.
